  • ADHD Testing includes a two-hour comprehensive clinical interview, ADHD rating scales and a QbCheck.

    You will complete three ADHD rating scales and your QbCheck before we meet for our two-hour session, so we can review the results together.

  • The clinical interview and review of your testing scores takes 2 hours. QbCheck will take 20 minutes.

  • ADHD rating scales are a key component in the evaluation and diagnosis of ADHD.

    ADHD rating scales are standardized questionnaires that assess the presence and severity of ADHD symptoms by asking you (or those who know you well) to rate the frequency or severity of behaviors related to the core symptoms of ADHD: inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity.

  • I incorporate leading expert Dr. Russell Barkley’s adult ADHD rating scales in my comprehensive ADHD testing process.

    Barkley’s ADHD rating scales are designed to assess ADHD symptoms, evaluate executive functioning and measure the impact of symptoms in your daily life.

  • QbCheck is an FDA approved computer-administered ADHD test that objectively measures the core ADHD symptoms of inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity in adults up to age 60. QbCheck is a remote ADHD test that can be completed in the comfort of your own home.

    QbCheck is used to aid in the assessment of ADHD; and results must be interpreted by a qualified professional.

  • QbCheck combines a Continuous Performance Test (CPT) with a motion tracking system by use of a web camera.

  • QbCheck requires a laptop computer with a built-in webcam, an internet connection and up to date google chrome web browser.

    QbCheck does not work with Smartphones, iPads, Chromebooks or Surfaces.

  • The cost is $500 for a thorough examination of your history, review and scoring of your rating scales, QbCheck, clinical recommendations, planning and guidance for your unique journey.

  • Unfortunately, ADHD testing is not covered by insurance. You can use your Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to help cover costs of testing.

  • Absolutely! I will review the results of your QbCheck, rating scales and my clinical impressions at the end of our diagnostic. You will receive a two page report from QbCheck and several scoring sheets from your rating scales. If you want a copy of your assessment with your diagnosis code I will have you sign a release of information for your records.

  • We will go through your treatment options together at the end of our visit and you can decide how you want to move forward.

  • No, only a psychiatrist or medical doctor can prescribe medications, however I can definitely point you in the right direction.

  • Yes! I will have you sign a release of information and fax them to your doctor or provider.
